Calling all authors, publishers, book type people, I NEED YOUR HELP!

I am food obsessed, I love to cook and if I had my perfect day it would be spent cooking with my kids and having lots of fun.   I have loved cooking since I was young and my passion exudes each day as I try new ideas.

What I really want to do is write a cook book.  Not your everyday boring cookbook with complex recipes, measuring out this and that, using ingredients you have never heard of or never going to be able to buy at your local shops.

I want to write a cook book with good old fashioned honest grub!  With proper measurements, using ingredients that are easy to buy and using store cupboard essentials and working to a tight budget.   I am a busy working mum but still manage to cook my family home cooked food each night because I have been developing these recipes for years and now I am starting to get asked for them more and more.  Mum’s really do want to give their kids good healthy, tasty and filling food, but they don’t want to spend a fortune on ingredients or spend hours in the kitchen.

I want to write this book with all my heart, I have already started putting some recipes together and some copy but I have no idea about how to get past this point!  All I know is I really want to do this, because if I don’t I will regret it, but I cannot afford to self publish.

So this is where you come in!  Can you help?  Can you offer me any advice or tips?  How do I go about getting a book out there?  Calling all authors, publishers and book type people, I need your help!
